Honda CBR1000 Independent Throttle Body Adapter
Interested in trying independent throttle bodies (ITBs)? This flange allows you to replace the plenum with a flange that allows you to use Honda CBR1000 motorcycle ITBs. This flange will work with 2005–2016 cable-driven throttle bodies and 2017+ drive-by-wire throttle bodies.
This kit solely allows the installation of the CBR1000 throttle bodies onto a ChathamCNC modular intake manifold. This kit doesn't include a head flange or runners. The remainder of the wiring, throttle cable interface, and tuning is the responsibility of the user. To use a drive-by-wire throttle body, you need a standalone ECU. For drive-by-wire throttle bodies, the ECU will need to be able to support drive-by-wire and the car will need proper wiring provisions installed. For cable-driven throttle bodies, you'll need to adapt your existing cable to the throttle bodies. Consult your ECU manufacturer and engine tuner for compatibility and installation.
