Bosch 60mm or 68mm Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body to Miata 1.8 adapter
CNC machined adapter to allow installation and use of a Bosch Drive-By-Wire (DBW) throttle body on a stock or aftermarket 1994-2005 Mazda Miata 1.8 intake manifold. The bore of this adapter is sized to work with larger aftermarket 1.8 manifolds and is larger than the bore of a stock intake. This adapter allows the installation of either a Bosch 60mm bore DBW throttle body (PN:0280750150; 60mm x 60mm bolt pattern) OR Bosch 68mm bore DBW throttle body (PN:0280750156; 65mm x 65mm bolt pattern).
To configure the adapter for each throttle body, the included M6 studs are installed in the corresponding marked holes. The adapter uses an O-Ring seal to seal the throttle body to the adapter. A stock 1.8 throttle body gasket is required to seal the adapter to the manifold and is not included with the adapter. Hardware to install the throttle body to the adapter and the adapter to the manifold is included.
A standalone ECU which supports Drive-By-Wire is required. Drive by wire pedal or throttle body are not included with this adapter. Wiring and configuration of the throttle body is the responsibility of the user. Please consult the manufacturer of your ECU/throttle body for guidance. This product is not intended for road use.
