The biggest challenge in converting to drive-by-wire (DBW) is converting your stock cable throttle pedal to an electronic pedal with a pedal position sensor. This usually requires a fair bit of fabrication skill or expensive custom mounts. This product lets you avoid all of that.
This APP bracket allows you to use a Honda Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor which operates with your stock pedal and throttle cable. You simply attach your throttle cable to the APP and mount the generic bracket in your engine bay. The bracket has a number of generic mounting holes.
The APP bracket has 9 different throttle cable spacing positions and will work with most throttle cables. The throttle cable holder is specifically designed to work with a 1989–2005 Mazda Miata throttle cable but can be easily adapted to other cables. If a custom throttle cable tab is necessary, we're happy to discuss making it for you. Two M6x20mm bolts and M6 nuts are included for generic mounting. Hardware to install the APP to the APP Bracket is also included.

As with all our parts, the APP bracket is designed and manufactured by us in our small, North Carolina shop.
A standalone ECU which supports DBW is required. A DBW throttle body aren't included with this adapter. Wiring and configuration of the throttle body is the responsibility of the user. Please consult the manufacturer of your ECU/throttle body for guidance. This product is not intended for road use.
The sensor isn't included with the bracket but can be purchased anywhere auto parts are sold. The bracket is designed to work with the following Honda APP part numbers:

In the early to mid-2000s, Honda began to convert their existing cars to DBW. They ran into the same issue you are. Converting their cable driving throttle pedals would be hard, so they developed the APP to solve the issue.
If you'd like a more application-specific mount option, we're developing adapter mounts for specific chassis. The first is a bracket which allows you to install the APP Bracket to a 1989–2005 Mazda Miata shock tower. Simply install the bracket under the 2 coil-over bolts on the shock tower to add a convenient place to mount the APP Bracket. This bracket will not work if the factory EVAP system is in place.
Installation note: The bracket is not a pedal stop! When installing the cable on the bracket, the throttle pedal stop must be adjusted so that the pedal hits the stop before the APP pulley hits the stop. Not doing so will damage the APP Bracket cable mount.
